How do you read the option codes once you have them?
You read the option codes against the car’s model and year. Porsche option codes start with M, for Mehrausstattung, followed by three digits, and some were reused with different meanings across generations. Where is the Porsche paint code?
The Porsche paint code is on the vehicle data sticker, printed with the option codes in the service booklet and on the matching sticker in the front luggage compartment. A car that has been repainted can carry a code that no longer matches its colour, so compare the sticker with the paint in hidden areas.
